Japanese performer Keisuke Kanaï is a dancer and actor, acrobat and juggler. He combines all of these expressive forms in his first solo stage performance, "Gai — Kotsu — The Skeleton", at the Altstadtherbst Kulturfestival.

Kanaï brings together the gently meditative and highly expressive form of Japanese Butoh dance with elements of poetic French circus artistry. In this creative play of light and darkness, shadows and silhouettes, Kanaï offers a thoroughly original vision of the human body.
