Three centuries years after his death, the north German composer Dietrich Buxtehude occupies a central position in this season's programming. Stylus Phantasticus brings us his moving cantata Quemadmodum desiderat cervus, as well as vocal and instrumental works by Erlebach and Reincken. A plunge into the expressive world of the 17th‐century German Baroque.
