This concert at the Gran Teatre del Liceu pays tribute to the great cellist, conductor, and composer, Pau (a.k.a. Pablo) Casals.

Pau Casals composed the Christmas Oratorio El Pessebre with a simple technique, rejecting all sensationalism and creating noble and generous music.
