This magnificent tour starts with a visit to the National Gallery where special attention will be paid to the works of Edvard Munch. The National Gallery holds some of his most famous pieces. The genius of this artist will forever stay ingrained in your mind. You will not only be able to witness his greatest paintings, but also works of other artists that have inspired him.
Afterwards the tour will take you through the lively streets of Oslo to the Ekeberg hill. A stroll through the woods and being surrounded by massive works of art curated by different international sculptors will leave inspired and pleasantly tired. It is among this area that Munch has created ‘The Scream’- the most commonly recreated piece of art to ever exist. The tour will then take you through the historic Medieval Town and end at the Oslo city centre.
The Scream Tour is a guided tour. A certified expert is part of the experience and he will be ready to answer all your questions concerning the exhibits at the museum.
