Christiane Karg is one of the most sought‐after lyrical sopranos of our time and, together with violist Antoine Tamestit and pianist Malcolm Martineau, dedicates herself to Franz Schubert's 'Auf dem Strom' and 'Der Hirt auf dem Felsen', in which the viola replaces the usual clarinet, as well as to a work by the rarely played German‐American violinist and composer Charles Loeffler (1861‐1935).
