The Akademie für Alte Musik will perform works by Quantz, Benda, C.P.E. Bach and Friedrich II of Prussia, to whom this concert is dedicated. Violinist Midori Seiler will lead the ensemble and is joined by soloists Christoph Huntgeburth (transverse flute) and Raphael Alpermann (Cembalo).

In five concerts at the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin performs with various guest conductors, soloists and ensembles, offering insight into the musical spheres of opera and church, concert hall and courtly chamber.
