朱塞佩·威尔第的《茶花女》——全球最受喜爱且上演最频繁的歌剧——将在第103届竞技场音乐节重磅回归。同样的魔力，焕新的感动：薇奥莱塔的故事以全新制作再度登场，将再次俘获我们的心。
《茶花女》（意：堕落的女人）是威尔第根据亚历山大·仲马1852年小说《茶花女》改编的三幕歌剧。19世纪50年代，以"风尘女子"为主题的歌剧在题材与背景设定上皆属创新之作。故事虽发生于威尔第所处的时代，但导演们常选择将剧情置于其他历史时期呈现。 《茶花女》是全球上演频率最高的歌剧之一。
第一幕
巴黎最负盛名的名妓薇奥莱塔的客厅里正举行热闹的派对。青年阿尔弗雷多·杰尔蒙特加入宴席，被劝说唱起饮酒歌。阿尔弗雷多一直暗恋薇奥莱塔，借此机会向她倾诉心意。 薇奥莱塔深信真爱与己无缘，只因身世所限，却被阿尔弗雷多纯粹的赤诚所动摇。
第二幕
薇奥莱塔与阿尔弗雷多远离上流社会，在巴黎郊外过着平静生活。当阿尔弗雷多外出时，薇奥莱塔意外迎来其父的造访。老杰蒙施压要求她与阿尔弗雷多分手，因她的声名危及女儿的婚事。 薇奥莱塔满怀悲痛与愧疚，未向阿尔弗雷多说明真相便离家而去。毫不知情的阿尔弗雷多因薇奥莱塔的"背信弃义"而暴怒。
薇奥莱塔在昔日恩主男爵的陪同下重返巴黎社交圈。阿尔弗雷多追至现场，当众对薇奥莱塔提出控诉并辱骂。
第三幕
数月后，薇奥莱塔病危垂危。阿尔弗雷多闻讯赶至病榻前——父亲终于向他道明真相。阿尔弗雷多恳求薇奥莱塔宽恕。两人憧憬着幸福未来，但薇奥莱塔在回忆与阿尔弗雷多共度的时光中，永远闭上了双眼。

维罗纳竞技场
维罗纳竞技场是现存第三大罗马圆形剧场。这座建于公元30年前后的建筑，亦是同期保存最完好的圆形剧场之一。其宏伟规模（长140米、宽100米）与可容纳逾三万名观众的席位，使其在布拉广场北侧占据绝对主导地位。 卓越的声学效果与绝佳的地理位置，使其成为大型歌剧演出的理想场所。文艺复兴时期，这座古迹重新作为剧院启用，1913年随着朱塞佩·威尔第歌剧《阿依达》的上演，维罗纳竞技场歌剧传统由此开启。

Musikalisch war alles bestens, auch die Arena ist wunderschön. Leider störten die vielen Handybenutzer sehr. Obwohl gebeten wird (Aufdruck auf Ticket, dreisprachige Ansage) halten sich viele Menschen nicht dran und stören andere. In Bregenz leuchten die Ordner mit Taschenlampen auf die Handynutzer.

Super Abend in der Arena. Das aufwendige Bühnenbild war ein Augenschmaus. Die Sänger haben Ihre Stimme voll zur Geltung gebracht. Leider haben wir auf den Stein sitzen mehr schlecht als gut gesessen. Beim nächsten Mal nehmen wir Karten für Stühle.

Fantastic experience. Great musical performance. Only downside was that my water bottle was taken at the entrance (500 ml soft squeeze bottle…) and someone apparently liked & took it.
