Workshop Concert: Dresden Music Festival

The workshop concert has become a well established format at the festival and this year members of the Dresden Festival Orchestra will be placing the cello center stage with Jan Vogler.

The focus of the evening's discussion will be placed on Robert Schumann and his violoncello concerto, which he wrote in Düsseldorf just a few days after leaving Dresden. Vogler and the Festival Orchestra rediscover this flawless work on strings and with original instruments.
