Great works by Mendelssohn, Ravel and Shostakovich in the hands of a super‐trio: pianist Jean‐Yves Thibaudet, violinist Lisa Batiashvili and cellist Gautier Capuçon. All three of them have been soloists countless times with great orchestras in the Concertgebouw's Main Hall. Now all three of them are on stage at the same time, in an intimate chamber music concert, that will start off with Shostakovich's romantic First piano trio. According to Salzburger Nachrichten, Gautier Capuçon brings 'the art of cell playing to perfection'. And Lisa Batiashvili recently won an Edison for her Tchaikovsky/Sibelius album. Their broad colour palette blossoms in Ravel's Piano Trio.
