The internationally renowned tenor Plácido Domingo and Ermonela Jaho, one of the most beloved sopranos by audiences worldwide, will close the lyrical season of the Teatro Real in Madrid with the performance of Thäis by Jules Massenet in a concert version.
This mature, intriguing score combines virtuous and erotic motifs. They intertwine and in so doing, underline a story which is at once disturbing and hopeless.
