Six European musicians from very different backgrounds shared the intention to explore the string sextet repertoire, a formation that is often overshadowed by the more usual quartet. Sextet Schönberg was born. While taking the name of this Austrian composer, especially linked to Barcelona, where he lived a few months invited by his disciple Robert Gerhard, and he led the Orchestra Pau Casals.
