American Joey Baron is considered to be one of the best drummers of avantgarde jazz; Robyn Schulkowsky is a leading contemporary music percussionists who has not only premiered works by Karlheinz Stockhausen, Walter Zimmermann, Rebecca Saunders and Wolfgang Rihm but is also known as a composer and improviser in her own right.
