Out of this world. Last night’s concert at the Oratorio del Gonfalone was extraordinary—easily one of the highlights of my trip to Rome. The room itself is breathtaking, like a miniature Sistine Chapel, only here you’re actually allowed to take photos. Intimate, luminous, and acoustically perfect. The music was superb and the musicians were outstanding, but the real revelation was the vocalists. The baritone and soprano were shockingly good—powerful, expressive, and utterly compelling. The audience knew it too: five minutes of sustained applause and five curtain calls said everything that needed to be said. It’s a shame there was only a single performance. I would return in a heartbeat for more. Bravo to everyone involved. A truly unforgettable evening.
