The third production of the Volksoper at the Casino am Schwarzenbergplatz features the first opera by the award‐winning English composer Thomas Adès.

The play is about the scandalous Margaret Campbell, Duchess of Argyll, about her numerous love affairs and divorces, which she recalls as an elderly lady living in a hotel — a snappy social satire about the amorality and decadence of the upper class and the voyeurism of the public.
