Pianist Dmitry Masleev: Haydn, Schubert and Tchaikovsky
演出简介
Encounter a rising star. The winner of the 2015 Tchaikovsky Competition, Masleev brings his artistry and technical mastery to bear on Haydn, Schubert, and Tchaikovsky.
Composed at a moment of great change, Haydn's great C Major Sonata may be credited with the invention of the sonata‐rondo form. Schubert's first set of 'Four Impromptus' displays a wonderful variety of forms and moods, while Tchaikovsky's pianistic art is at its most sophisticated in the 'Eighteen Pieces' composed in the last year of his life.
