Cellist Paul Watkins joins the Ensemble Nash in a performance of music by Debussy, Fauré, and Messiaen, with readings (in French) by actor Didier Sandre.

This lecture concert focusses on two musicians in time of war: the famous cellist Maurice Maréchal, and composer Olivier Messiaen.

The Beauvais Cello Festival offers an opportunity to enjoy the deep sonorities of the cello in all of the instrument's many guises, from solo suites to Romantic concertos.
