Under the baton of To͂nu Kaljuste the Dutch Chamber Choir celebrates Arvo Pärt's eightieth birthday with some of his finest compositions.

"Tintinnabular" is what Pärt calls his compositional style. Loosely translated this means: music of bells and whistles. The Estonian composer began as serialist but has now created an entirely new genre. Contemporary, often religious but also secular works often orchestrated for the human voice.
