The London Mozart Players, resident orchestra at Fairfield Halls since 1989, offers a season of inspiring programs and excellent guest artists.

One of the composer's most mellifluous and harmonious pieces, written for his wife upon the birth of their son Siegfried, Wagner's Siegfried Idyll begins this Valentine's Day concert. Guest narrator Simon Callow then tells us of the forbidden love of Sibelius' Pelléas et Mélisande; conductor and violinist Joseph Swenson closes the evening with the richly orchestrated colors and melodies of Brahms' sonorous Violin Concerto, offering a delightful foray for the imagination.
