Emmanuelle Haïm, who already conducted L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Glyndebourne Festival in 2008, takes up the score once again with Le Concert d’Astrée.

Haïm offers us a profoundly theatrical vision of Monteverdi in line with her fascinating recording of Orfeo. Jean‐Francois Sivadier stages this story of power, love, and erotic manipulation with his usual keen focus on human passions.
