Hailed as a "long‐lost" talent, Jorge Luis Prats came to international attention only since an American concert in 2007, despite having won the Piano Grand‐Prix at the Thibaud Competition in Paris some thirty years earlier. His recording with Decca of a live performance featuring works by Spanish and Latin‐American composers, and he continues in that vein today.

Iberia is a work much like Prats himself: flamboyant, grand and compelling. To perform all four books is a virtuosic feat, sure to create a memorable concert.
