Joaquín Grilo: Flamenco Concert in Palais des Beaux‐Arts
演出简介
Born in Jerez de la Frontera, the birthplace of flamenco, from a very early age Joaquín Grilo spent time in the company of the crème de la crème of Andalusian dance. Masters such as Fernando Belmonte and Paco del Rio took him under their wing and by 8 years of age he was performing too. It wasn’t long before he became the lead dancer of the Jerez Belmonte children’s ballet. At fifteen, shows at national level took him to Barcelona then Madrid where he performed alongside renowned artists. This in turn led to international recognition and Joaquín Grilo now travels the world with big names such as Cristobal Reyes and Lola Greco. Moreover, he has regularly accompanied the legendary guitarist Paco de Lucía, a collaboration that began in 1994. Joaquín Grilo celebrates flamenco in its original pure form, with passion and elegance. His creations combine beauty and simplicity, tuning into our deepest emotions as they offer up an intense show for the eyes and ears.
