演出简介

Hungarian violinist Barnabás Kelemen performs with the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest under the baton of Pietari Inkinen at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. After compositions by Jenő Hubay and Saint‐Saëns, the second half of the program is dedicated to works by Sibelius.

Sibelius himself claimed that his compositions were not political, but Finnish patriots felt supported by his music, which often treated subjects close to Finnish culture.
