演出简介
亨德尔的《弥赛亚》当然是一首举世闻名的《哈利路亚》。但这首华丽的合唱只是这部充满丰富情感的乐谱中的众多珍品之一。在这两个半小时的演出中，亨德尔通过三个场景，唱出了耶稣的降生、受难与复活，情感从最璀璨的喜悦到最令人窒息的悲剧，由合唱团以辉煌的声乐呈现。最重要的是，作曲家绝对的真诚与他赋予这部无名激情的非凡活力，贯穿始终。1742年首演时便大获成功，《弥赛亚》从此再未离开英格兰和欧洲的音乐生活，并在维多利亚时期的英格兰被转化为宏大的庆典。

It was all good. the choir, the lead singers, the orchestra. We had a wonderful time. one thing that wasn't good, the chairs. These were so uncomfortable. especially when you have to seat for a long 3 hours

The music was beautiful but it was Sooo… cold sitting in the church. Also extremely uncomfortable cained backed chairs!

It was great to listen to the Messiah again and the choir was amazing. I really liked the interpretations in the minor pieces. However, this church is not very well suited for such a concert, there is a lot of noise that comes from outside.
