Leonardo Garcia Alarcón and his flamboyant Cappella Mediterranea are accomplished in the polyphonic tradition of Iberia as well as in South American cultures. Reinforced by the Chœur de chambre de Namur, the musicians evoke the glory and cultural diversity of the Spanish empire after the conquest of the South American continent in the 15th and the 16th century.
