Van Baerle Trio at the Palace of Arts Budapest: Message from Vienna
演出简介
This dynamic chamber music ensemble met at the world renowned Amsterdam Conservatory. The Van Baerle Trio brings a profound musical message from Austria's capital to the Palace of Arts.
Haydn wrote the trio featured here – subtitled in one of his manuscripts as Jacob’s Dream – at the age off 63 in 1795. As one of his later works, it is far removed in tone – and in its two‐movement structure – from the clean formal world of the Viennese classics.
Beethoven’s Trio in B‐flat major, completed some 15 years later, is a work on a symphonic scale which the composer wrote for his patron and student Archduke Rudolf of Austria.
