西蒙·拉特爵士自始便热情洋溢地表示：“创立这支乐团是至关重要的理念。”成立于2015年的奇内克！乐团以促进古典音乐文化多样性为宗旨。乐团名称源自尼日利亚伊博语，意为"创造世界与美好事物的上帝"。当惊叹于非凡事物时，当地人也会发出"Chineke"的感叹，相当于我们的"哇！"。

An ECHO Rising Star in 2021‐22, she received the coveted Leonard Bernstein Award and an Opus Klassik award for Best Young Artist. In 2022‐23, Isata Kanneh‐Mason was named Artist in Residence with London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, making her solo debut at the BBC Proms in that season to rave reviews. A dynamic and intelligent musician known for her eclectic and inspired programming, Kanneh‐Mason's recital and concerto calendar encompasses the world's great concert halls and orchestras.
