Only the pianist himself, who recently released a solo CD with music by Fauré, will be the focus of this evening. Gramophone wrote that this game allows you to really understand aspects of the music that you thought you already know well.

Beethoven

Among other things, the lover plays Beethoven's Seventh Sonata. A special work full of mood changes. The pianist can sometimes make himself very tall, but he must also dare to be very small. Van Franck sounds prelude, chorale and fugue. A piano work with an organ‐like approach, full of rich harmonies. There are echoes of Bach and Liszt — two composers who are also sitting at Hannes Lnaar's desk this evening.
