The Capella Reial de Catalunya and Le Concert des Nations will perform Die Israeliten in der Wüste (The Israelites in the Desert) the oratorio by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach under the baton of Jordi Savall at Auditori de Barcelona.

The oratorio The Israelites in the Desert by Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach (1714‐1788), the fifth son of J. S. Bach, is an extraordinary piece but hardly known in Catalonia, until now it has never been played.
