Each a world‐renowned soloist, all three musicians have a long‐standing commitment to making chamber music at the highest level. The only work the composer wrote for piano, cello, and violin, Tchaikovsky's A minor trio is renowned for its expansive lyricism, and demanding piano part. In stark contrast, Shostakovich' Second Piano Trio conveys the conflict raging in the world at the time of its composition.
