An invitation from Thomas Hampson, or: the art of singing in Italy and America. The celebrated baritone will fulfill the Festspielhaus with his exceptional voice.
Baritone Thomas Hampson has long championed the American song. His “Song of America” project offers testimony to this, as does today’s “American Night” program. And with Nadine Sierra and Michael Fabiano, he has invited two of his compatriots. Together they will celebrate their own traditions while building a bridge to Europe: a part of the concert will be devoted to the musical legacy of Italy.
