The first ever cellist to win a MacArthur "genius" grant gives a chamber recital at the Philharmonie Kammermusiksaal.

Alisa Weilerstein won a grant in 2011 from the MacArthur Foundation, recognising her talent. Her programme in Berlin combines classics by Beethoven and Schubert with 20th Century Russian pieces.
