In the first of three performances at Carnegie Hall, Esa‐Pekka Salonen leads the MET Orchestra in an all‐Mahler program, with mezzo‐soprano Susan Graham and tenor Matthew Polenzani singing selections from 'Des Knaben Wunderhorn'.

In the second half of the concert, Salonen conducts Mahler's astounding, all‐embracing First Symphony.
