The Jazzorchestra of the Concertgebouw is made up of the cream of the crop from the Dutch jazz scene. Their list of international collaborations is equally impressive. The Jazzorchestra regularly collaborates with world‐class guest soloists, including Kurt Elling, José James, Chick Corea, Branford Marsalis, Oleta Adams, Benny Golson and Christian Scott. Artistic director Juan Martinez developed the concept for the most recent album, Crossroads, along with chief conductor Dennis Mackrel and music arranger and co‐conductor Rob Horsting. It includes compositions by six band members, reworked for big band by top international music arrangers. It’s this new project they will proudly perform at BOZAR.
