Janine Jansen performs Bartók with the Concertgebouw Orchestra

Star violinist Janine Jansen will join the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and Andris Nelsons for a program featuring works by Bartók, and Shostakovich.

After having performed the Eighth, Fourth, Fifth, and Tenth Symphonies, the orchestra and Andris Nelsons continue their Shostakovich cycle with the "Leningrad" symphony, the symbol of resistance against the Nazi regime.
