Einstein on the beach by Philip Glass: Palau de la Música Catalana
Sobre o Evento
Opera or, because of its break with the rules, perhaps an unidentified sound object? Undoubtedly, Einstein on the beach is one of the greatest hits of Philip Glass, our guest composer of the season. Premiered in 1976 at the Avignon Festival, it is one of the most impressive operas of the last quarter of the 20th century. With its constant metric and simple reduced structures it represents a major work of modernity.
