'Crisantemi' was the name Giacomo Puccini gave to his string quartet movement, which he composed in just one night as a lament for Prince Amadeo of Savoy, who died young. However, there is no trace of grief in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's piano concertos from his first, happy time in Vienna. Instead: captivating splendour and festive gallantry.
