Alexander Malofeev is just 18 years old, but has already started a big career performing in the main halls of the world. Since his succesfull perfomance at the Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Pianists in 2014 and at the 'Grand Piano Competition' in 2016, the Russian prodigy has been propelled into the limelight. Alexander Malofeev's interpretations are powerful in Beethoven, impressive in width in Rachmaninov, colorful in Balakirev, lyrical in Tchaikovsky and percussive in Prokofiev, he paints each score with his own color and specific poetry.
