Bach: b‐minor mass

On Bach's day of death, the Munich Bach Choir and the Bach Collegium Munich will perform under the direction of Hansjörg Albrecht the b‐minor mass by Bach.

The b‐minor mass is Bach's only complete composition of this liturgy, finished in the last years of  this great composer's life.  A performance of this mass in Bach's lifetime is not believed to have taken place — the b‐minor mass is one of his compositions which were rediscovered in the 19th century.
