Ton Koopman is a passionate promoter of authentic interpretations and one of the world’s leading authorities on the works of J. S. Bach.
He will return to Gulbenkian Music for two concerts conducting the Gulbenkian Orchestra and also welcomes the interpretive brilliance of Alexei Volodin, a pianist whose very clever technique coexists alongside an expression capable of impetuous flashes and the highest lyricism.
