In this highly‐anticipated concert, hear the mellifluous sounds of classical music by Dvořák and Vivaldi at Barcelona's treasured and world‐renowned Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar.

The Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Sea is a spectacular example of Catalan Gothic style, which is very rarely seen in its pure form. Built between 1329 and 1383, Santa Maria del Mar was both funded and built by locals, unlike the contemporaneous Barcelona Cathedral, financed by the king.
Inside the Basilica one may notice a lack of decoration. However, an unusually high ceiling, elegant pillars, stained‐glass windows, smooth geometrical lines and dark walls, can delight even the most sophisticated visitor. The mystical and awe‐inspiring ambience makes Santa Marial del Mar an ideal venue for an extraordinary Classical music experience.
