In de zomer kunnen er lange rijen zijn om de Notre Dame binnen te gaan. Als uw gids vindt dat de rijen tijdens uw rondleiding te lang duren, kan hij ervoor kiezen om op dat moment niet naar binnen te gaan, en bent u vrij om naar binnen te gaan tijdens de vrije tijd aan het eind van de rondleiding.

Uw trefpunt is bij het standbeeld van Karel de Grote voor de Notre Dame kathedraal.
Aan de rechterkant van de esplanade voor de Notre Dame kathedraal (als u naar de kathedraal kijkt) staat een groot bronzen standbeeld van Karel de Grote te paard. Uw gids wacht op u naast het standbeeld. De dichtstbijzijnde metro's zijn Cité of St Michel.
