Particularly in the Baroque period, the special aura of the Christmas Midnight Mass inspired many artists to create masterworks. Italian conductor Andrea Marcon has brought together the most beautiful among them to present a musical Christmas mass. The majority of the pieces selected are by Claudio Monteverdi.
