Let Mozart's 17th piano concerto intrigue you — with renowned Mozart‐specialist Maria João Pires.

Pires and the world‐famous Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra are conducted by veteran Herbert Blomstedt, a frequent and much‐loved guest at the Concertgebouw.

As well as Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 17 (K. 453), Blomstedt conducts Tchaikovsky's last symphony: No. 6 "Pathétique", premiered just days before the composer's death and — according to some — filled with coded messages and secret longing, on top of the beauty and mastery that are clear to any concert‐goer.
