Over het evenement
Enjoy the an exciting ballet evening with the Mariinsky Ballet in the stunning Festspielhaus Baden‐Baden.
When the Russian choreographer George Balanchine, who had emigrated to the USA, walked past the displays of diamond dealers in New York's Fifth Avenue in the 1960s, he came up with the idea of forming three ballets that differ in shape, colour and cut like precious stones. Their facets reflect the classical Russian dance as Balanchine experienced it in his childhood in St. Petersburg — as well as New York's showbiz.
