Long and deservedly a firm fixture in music lovers’ calendars, this year’s Grafenegg summer festival opens in style with an evening devoted to the sublime music of Richard Strauss. Set in the stunning landscaped gardens of the Grafenegg chateau in Lower Austria, this concert has all the makings of an unforgettable night.

Led by leading international conductor Andrés Orozco‐Estrada, the Tonkünstler Orchestra will perform some of Strauss’ most enduring operatic music including scenes from the Rosenkavalier and Capriccio while a host of today’s most talented star soloists—among them Angela Denoke, Daniela Fally, and Thomas Tatzl—take centre stage.
