Enjoy choral music by J. Rheinberger, M. Hogan, M. Praetorius, Th. Morley and others performed by the Sherwood High School Chamber Singers under the baton of Mike Maddox in the awe‐inspiring setting of the Stephansdom Vienna.
The American choir from Maryland, USA, has a long choral tradition and its musical spectrum ranges from European Renaissance music to American spirituals and modern choral music. The university's courses of study range from medicine, technology and research to music, dance and singing — the performances of the school's own band in the Sherwood´s Rock ´n´Roll Revival Show are popular. The musical director Mike Maddox has been teaching at the public school Maryland since 2009, he graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park and plays saxophone, guitar, drum — with his charisma and way of making music he inspires not only his students but also you at the concert performance in the Viennese Stephansdom.
