Gondola Serenade & Classical Concert in Venice

Enjoy a romantic gondola serenade through the Venetian canals with music and traditional Italian songs.

Together with a maximum of 6 passengers you will explore Venice in a gondola from the water, along the Canal Grande and the inner canals. An original gondolier in a characteristic striped shirt will delight your ear with entertaining and romantic traditional Italian songs.

After the gondola ride you will visit a unique concert in a beautiful church. The church of San Vidal is undoubtedly a must‐see during your visit to Venice. This historic and cultural place has been hosting first class concerts for 30 years.

'San Vidal (San Vitale) is a Venetian concert and event hall located in the Sestiere of San Marco, at one end of Campo Santo Stefano.
Established at the end of the 11th Century by Doge Vitale Falier in honor of his namesake saint, the building burned down and was replaced in the 16th Century. Further renovations were needed in the 17th Century, and were completed in the style of the period. The interior hall has a vaulted ceiling, paintings by Pellegrini and Piazzetta dating back to the 17th century, and a detailed presbytery by Vittore Carpaccio. The altar piece depicts San Vidal on Horseback with Eight Saints, watched overfrom above by the Virgin with the Christ Child.
The composer Baldassare Galuppi was buried here, although his funeral was held in a nearby church called Santo Stefano, and no gravestone can be found in the hall.

Praktische informatie

Please note:
- it is a shared gondola (up to six people for each one) so the gondola might be shared with other people
- the singer and musicians might not be on your gondola
- the Gondola Ride will take place also with rain, only in case of very heavy rain it might be cancelled and the tour will be refunded (if not taken another day/time)
