Barrie Kosky’s acclaimed production of the classic musical returns to the Komische Oper Berlin with theatre legends Max Hopp and Dagmar Manzel as the milkman and his long‐suffering wife, whose life in the little shtetl of Anatevka, defined by the unchanging bounds of ‘Tradition!’, will be turned upside down by the unstoppable march of time. Children grow to adulthood, regimes alter, yet life – and love — must keep their balance, like a Fiddler on the Roof.

Start the evening with a culinary delight and allow yourself to be spoiled with a delicious dinner before the concert. The Restaurant Gendarmerie is only a few minutes away from the Komische Oper and offers modern Berlin brasserie cuisine in a stylish ambience.
