The Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Jakub Hrůša, performs a program solely dedicated to Antonín Dvořák's symphonic poems.
Dvorak's popular first four symphonic poems are based on ballads by K. J. Erben. The evening ends with the composer's rarely performed final work in this genre, "A Hero's Song".
