Martinů, Schumann & Dvořák: Philharmonie Luxembourg

Violinist Jean‐Guihen Queyra joins the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg to perform works by Martinů, Schumann, and Dvořák under the baton of Jiří Bělohlávek.

The Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg was founded in 1933 and since 2005 has made the Philharmonie its home. The OPL is the ensemble heard most often in the Grand Auditorium. The series «Cycle Philharmonique I» comprising seven concerts invites visitors to experience the orchestra’s work in‐depth. In this concert, Jiří Bĕlohlávek interprets works by Czech compatriots Dvořák and Martinů.
